Lauren is a team member and Research Scientist on a partnership between the Forest Foundation Philippines and the University of Guelph that will advance nature-based solutions to climate change. This role will potentially include work related to small and medium enterprise development linked to forest-based foods. Global Affairs Canada recently announced this $8million CAD project that will run from 2024 through 2028. As a Research Scientist, Lauren will be travelling to the Philippines over the next four years, and is committed to supporting University of Guelph graduate students working in this area.
